about working with an interior designer.
Answers to the most frequently asked questions can help clear up any doubts and make the decision-making process easier. If you have additional questions and are wondering why it's worth hiring an interior designer, I am available to assist you by phone or email.
01

Why to hire an interior designer?
First and foremost, time savings that would otherwise be spent on learning trends, visiting many stores with finishing materials, researching renovation techniques, or creating drawings for the professionals who will implement your ideas and inspirations. Thanks to my experience and specialization in interior design, I can help you avoid costly mistakes, select the best solutions, and create a cohesive interior for a reasonable price. I will ensure that the entire process is comfortable for you, and the final result exceeds your expectations.
02

How can I get an estimate for the interior design project?
The cost estimate for an interior design project depends on several factors, such as square footage, scope of work, complexity, timeline, and individual requirements. To prepare an accurate offer, I always ask for the floor plan of the apartment or house, as well as the preferred interior style and information about who the design is for. It's also important to know the purpose of the space (for personal use/rental) to tailor the offer accordingly. Estimated prices are available in the Offer section. If you contact me, I will prepare a detailed estimate. You can find important contact information in the Contact section.

Why is it worth investing in a comprehensive interior design project?
A comprehensive design project is more than just an interior visualization – it's a complete plan that covers both aesthetic and technical aspects. With it, you receive detailed solutions for the functional layout, material selection, color scheme, furniture, lighting, and accessories, as well as precise technical documentation required for project implementation. This tool helps avoid inconsistencies, mistakes, and additional costs during the work phase. A comprehensive project ensures that the final result will be thoughtfully designed in every detail, tailored to your lifestyle, and harmonious in every aspect. It's an investment that saves your time and nerves while guaranteeing an interior that meets all your expectations.

What is the difference between a professional interior design project and a decorating service?
**A professional interior design project is a comprehensive approach that includes not only aesthetic aspects but also functionality, ergonomics, and technical considerations.** An interior designer analyzes the space holistically: creating a functional layout, designing built-in units, planning installations, and selecting materials and solutions that fully meet your needs. The result is a detailed design with technical documentation, shopping lists, visualizations, and a complete implementation plan, and the effects can be admired in **[Realizations](https://moje.jedynetakiewnetrza.pl/realizacje/).** On the other hand, **a decorating service focuses mainly on selecting stylistic elements such as colors, fabrics, furniture, and accessories, and does not always interfere with the structure or layout of the space.** It’s an ideal solution for those who want to refresh their interiors but do not plan significant functional or technical changes. In short, an interior design project is a comprehensive transformation of the space, while decoration is its subtle finishing touch. As a **[passionate interior designer](https://moje.jedynetakiewnetrza.pl/architekt-wnetrz-krakow-warszawa-gdansk/)**, I have gone through the journey from a decorator to an emerging designer who has arranged, among other things, doctor's offices, law offices, shops, exhibitions, cafes — often learning from mistakes, but at the same time gaining experience over **14 years of practice to be able to take care of your interior in the best way possible as an interior designer.**

Does the project include author supervision?
Author supervision, in its full scope, is a separate service from the interior design service. However, I fully understand how important it is to support the Client and the project at key moments of its realization. Therefore, in every service estimate, I include consultation meetings – both at the beginning of the renovation to ensure alignment with the project assumptions, and at the finishing stage to discuss details with subcontractors or select final material samples. These meetings allow for effective project management and ensure its consistency, which in most cases is enough to achieve the intended result, as confirmed by numerous recommendations.
06

Do I offer turnkey project services?
I do not offer turnkey project services, as this would require having my own renovation or carpentry team, as well as overseeing the entire execution process. This type of service is much more time-consuming, and consequently, more expensive. Instead, I focus on preparing a comprehensive design, which includes detailed guidelines for contractors, and I offer support through consultations at key stages of execution, such as the start of work or selection of materials. This way, the project is fully refined, and the implementation remains flexible and tailored to your needs. I have connections with trusted companies.
07

Do I design interiors only in the Tri-City area?
Yes, I mainly design interiors in the Tri-City area in person, but I have extensive experience working in various locations. For many years, I designed interiors in Kraków, as well as completed remote projects in Warsaw, Wrocław, and several times abroad. This experience allows me to adapt flexibly to the needs of the client and the characteristics of the interior, regardless of location. Interior design projects from different locations can be found in the Portfolio section.
08

What is the minimum scope of the design service?
For apartments and houses in developer's condition: the open living space, bathroom, and bedroom, for which I design a common, aesthetic "denominator". In order to create a harmonious style, I look for finishing materials that will seamlessly blend in these mentioned rooms. My offer and my designs in Portfolio show that I am convinced that a timeless interior concept arises this way.
For spaces to be renovated, the minimum scope will include the living room and hallway. In every case, I do not design single rooms like furniture arrangements in kitchens or hallway layouts.
If you need a bedroom, children's room, or bathroom design, feel free to check out my offer and my designs in the Portfolio.
09

How should you prepare for a conversation with an interior designer?
During the first email contact, briefly explain what needs to be designed, which rooms, and what deadlines are associated with the given investment. Is it a developer-ready space, or are you planning to renovate already furnished interiors? More details can be added in the contact form, which guides you on how to specify the Project Inquiry.
10

What is the current budget for finishing an apartment?
Most of my projects are estimated around 4000-7000 PLN/m2. There are projects at a much higher level, which allows for the use of more sophisticated solutions. On the other hand, cost estimates below 4000 PLN/m2 were achievable a few years ago. Currently, to finish interiors to a decent standard with good quality, durable finishing materials, and also using furniture from chain stores, one should expect a range within the mentioned level.
11

Am I the interior designer for you?
An interior design project is not a ready-made product that you can purchase in a store and compare prices at different places. Although, in general terms, certain project stages overlap and the service is related to a price, trust is key – finding someone you will entrust your property to and be in constant contact with for several months, so it’s important to "speak the same language." My clients often emphasize that working with me is a great experience, and they feel that I truly care about their needs, involvement, respect, and attention to detail in every project. I respond comprehensively and quickly to any questions, which leaves no room for doubts, and when it comes to the budget, I always manage to find a "golden mean." I have written more about my ideals here, and if you want to learn more about my story, check out About Me. You can also see if my personal style resonates with you, or if you prefer my designs in more conventional arrangements, such as elegant, glamour interiors, a variety of Scandinavian interiors, or loft-inspired interiors. Maybe you want to live in modern apartments or homes.
