About me
“…the world of extraordinary interiors captivated me so much that I radically changed my life path, making interior design my true calling… a calling that had been quietly growing within me for years, waiting for the right moment to take over my life completely… with a fresh perspective, enriched by gained experience and continuously nurtured by an evolving inner talent…”
Paulina Kononowicz-Kwaśnik
How did I become an interior architect?
An economist who decided to design interiors… Who would have thought that such contrasting qualities could go hand in hand? And yet, they define me. My economic background ensures a functional and realistic approach to execution, while my perfectionist, artistic soul creates unique interiors.
Earning my master’s degree in economics from Jagiellonian University was just the first step in developing my passion. That’s when I discovered my hidden talent for interior design. I had always been drawn to home decor, and fortunately, I found my true calling in time.
In pursuit of creative freedom and my own career path, I initially completed a Professional Residential Interior Design Course at Art Studio in Warsaw. This inspiring experience not only reassured me of my abilities but also opened the door to new opportunities and allowed me to test my skills in practice.
While preparing my diploma, I completed my first project for a design studio. That experience confirmed my desire to create interiors—and, most importantly, to do so on my own terms. Soon, I started receiving commissions under my own name, and on December 1, 2011, I founded my own design studio, Jedyne.Takie.Wnętrza, built on the idea of creating one-of-a-kind interiors. Every project tells a different story, crafted with a deep understanding of my clients’ expectations and a vision for spaces that bring lasting joy.
The next step in my development was the decision to pursue higher education in Interior Architecture, which I successfully completed. I am passionate about beautiful interiors and strive to create truly exceptional spaces. My inspiration consistently comes from contemporary Scandinavian style and modern classic design. I enjoy blending these with retro and vintage accents, where the combination of timeless solutions and carefully selected materials results in interiors that are both elegant and enduring. You can see the effects of these compositions in the J.T.W. Style section.
I value minimalism and functionality. I firmly believe in the principle that “less is more,” ensuring that interiors feel welcoming, calming, and harmonious. At the same time, eclectic design choices reflect individuality. That’s why I dedicate myself to crafting spaces that are tailored to the character of their residents—cozy, practical, and comfortable for everyday life.
Creativity and perfectionism define me, shaping my approach to every project. For over 15 years, I have been developing my passion, designing hundreds of interiors, and meeting wonderful clients. I truly believe in following one’s own path and making dreams a reality. With great pleasure, I will help you design interiors that reflect your personality and turn your vision of a dream home into a place where you love to live.
